Here is Ari and I at my 36 week doctor's visit. I am weighing at 143 lbs. The baby's vital signs, as well as mine are doing really well. My cervix is closed. I asked if she could make sure, because I feel the baby's head is between my thighs. Really! I didn't feel like this when I was pregnant with Ari. I know every pregnancy is different from the next, but this one is always on the move, has me going to the restroom every 20 minutes, craving for oranges and chocolate - as a main dish, and I can't begin to discuss the mood swings!!
I've had a cold/sinus infection for the past several weeks. Since I can't take any OTC medicine - due to being pregnant....whatever! I wish I could take my Claritin-D and be well within a day, but NO!! At my recent 36 week check up with my OBGYN. She prescribed me an antibiotic, amoxicillin. Finally, a drug I can take to get well and feel better than I have been.
Well, I can't believe it is October 22, 2008. Ari will be turning a year old in 2 weeks. How exciting. He is having a Halloween themed party, dressing up as a Mariachi and I, as a witch. Today is my beloved husband, Chad's birthday. I cooked him breakfast in bed. Since Ari was still sleeping I put a picture of him on the breakfast tray. And at the moment, I am sitting in the lobby of Memorial Hermann taking a 3 hour glucose test. Just last week I was admitted to the hospital for pre-term labor contractions and I am only 27 weeks into my pregnancy. It was scary and painful. The doctor determined it was food poison. I'll post the ultrasound photos soon from the hospital real soon. I can't wait to see our new bundle of sweet joy. We still haven't decided on a name. Any suggestions???
Speaking of who has time? We are, actually, Chad is busy remodeling the guest bathroom, painting inside & outside the house... Whoa, need to take a break from the laptop .....more to come, Ari just woke up from his mid morning nap.......
My due date is January 16th. These ultrasound pictures were taken at 20 weeks. I am doing fairly well, considering working a full time job and taking care of Ari. He turned 10 months on September 1st. Ari is crawling everywhere, constantly babbling, and eating like a champ. We couldn't be more proud of our little dude.
