For months I was so excited to see The Dandy's. We arranged for my mom to watch the boys and I asked for the following the day off from work. A couple weeks prior to the show I cleaned out my closet and found these amazing platform black sandals with embellish crystal butterflies I owned for at least ten years. And I decided these were the shoes I was to wear. BAD decision. They came apart mid show. I was so embarrassed thinking how the hell can this happen to me?? Of all nights! I screamed to Rebecca to find Chad so I can get my flip-flops (back up shoes) from the car. Then Tim said F-that you are not going to get anyone to go to the car. You are fine. I screamed that my F'n shoes came totally apart. Both of my shoes! The soles came undone. What are the chances of not one shoe, but both. It could only happen to me. OH well. The show was awesome. I am sorry I missed the opening band Spindrift.
What a hot day it was.... HOT. HOT. HOT. Taking two kids under the age of two is tough. Ari did not want to sit still for 2 minutes. He would sit next to me for awhile if I gave him sips of my summer pils. I would have given him purple haze, but we forgot the bottle opener. Maybe next year it won't be as hot........
...and I am awake. Miles is sleeping through his midnight feeding. Good news but bad because my body is still used to waking up at this time to feed him.
